About the position

The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of the marketing plan, focusing on content strategy, budget management, and achieving marketing objectives. This role involves collaboration with the Sales team, managing lead generation activities, maintaining the company website and social media presence, and supporting internal communications and trade show representation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the marketing plan including content strategy, audiences, messaging, and media.
  • Set and manage the marketing budget to meet business requirements.
  • Monitor and report on the achievement of marketing objectives and progress against budget.
  • Plan and manage execution of marketing activities, including a website refresh in year 1.
  • Work with the Sales team to capture and categorize contacts in Salesforce for targeted messaging.
  • Define, develop, and manage all lead generation activities including email and online advertising (PPC).
  • Maintain website content including blogs, thought pieces, solutions, datasheets, case studies, client and partner lists, and press releases.
  • Maintain social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn.
  • Maintain sales and marketing collateral including tradeshow materials, brochures, and promotional items.
  • Maintain customer support collateral such as SOPs and how-to videos.
  • Support internal communications and representation of Metering at major trade shows.
  • Plan, schedule, and implement tradeshows, distributor training, customer events, user groups, conferences, and exhibitions, maximizing lead generation at key events, including onsite setup and management.
  • Liaise with Mueller Marketing and Legal to ensure compliance with brand and other guidelines.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified and/or have relevant professional qualifications (IDM, CIM, CIPR).
  • Several years of experience in marketing positions.
  • Experience in hardware/SaaS software solution B2B preferred.
  • Familiarity with the marketing mix including digital, web, conferences, tradeshows, publications, PR, and copywriting.
  • Proficient in marketing tools such as Salesforce and Pardot.
  • Professional attitude and presentability, with strong verbal communication skills.
  • Efficient in problem solving, planning, organizing, teamwork, and stress management.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance competing demands, with ownership to completion.
  • Self-management and initiative, with a focus on innovation.
  • Experience in marketing planning and execution, including project management and copywriting.
