About the position

The Product Management Analyst at NJM Insurance plays a crucial role in fostering a data-driven culture within the Product Management department. This position involves collaborating with various management levels to analyze key performance metrics, support business decisions, and enhance understanding of profitability, growth, and operational results across assigned states. The analyst will engage in a variety of analytical activities aimed at driving sustained long-term growth while ensuring high service levels for customers.

Responsibilities

• Review and report on market share and activities of competitors within assigned states.
• Provide insights and trends in the marketplace.
• Generate regular reporting on key performance indicators.
• Lead strategic projects in support of product management and assist in preparing presentations for business leaders.
• Develop competitive models and analysis utilizing data and analytical skills resulting in dashboard and ad hoc reports.
• Compile, clean, organize, and analyze complex data to understand and communicate business results.
• Conduct presentations as required.
• Review financial results with business leaders, providing insights into results relative to expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Familiarity in data science tools and available systems (SQL, SAS, PowerBi or similar, Office suite) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree required in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to drive strategic direction and take initiative.
• Effective communicator (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated innovative thinking.
• Strong attention to detail.
