About the position

The Product Management Co-op position at ITT Goulds Pumps offers students pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management within a leading pump manufacturing company. This co-op role is designed for the Spring/Summer 2025 academic schedule, allowing candidates to work full-time while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Data mining and reaching out to agencies, gathering data from the internet, and talking directly to subject matter experts.
• Developing voice of the customer (VOC) surveys and questionnaires to inform product and market directions.
• Assisting in the implementation of VOC surveys and questionnaires.
• Assisting in assembling business case materials and drafting business documents.
• Performing data gathering and analysis tasks.
• Working on standardizing existing tools to improve efficiency.
• Creating collateral for social media, internet, and print advertising.

Requirements

• Junior/Senior pursuing a degree in engineering (mechanical preferred).
• Some exposure through coursework or previous co-op to market study and engineering specifications for mechanical equipment is preferred.
• Required experience with MS-Word, MS-Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to perform return on investment analysis from engineering projects.
• Good presentation skills.
• Conceptual thinker with strong analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AS400/PRMS, MS-Access, Windchill, and Creo is helpful but not required.
• Experience working on teams.
