About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Home Lending Servicing Product Management Director who will lead the product strategy for Home Lending Servicing. This role requires a product-focused leader with strong relationship management and operational skills, capable of navigating a complex corporate environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer insights, managing product performance, and leading a team of product managers to develop technology product roadmaps that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall product strategy for Home Lending Servicing.
• Drive the development of customer and/or market insights to influence the Home Lending technology product strategy.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to develop a cohesive product strategy across numerous business areas and technology products.
• Lead a team of Product Management Managers, Product Managers, and Product Owners to develop technology product roadmaps.
• Develop and coach team members to establish an industry-leading product management competency.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Manage product strategy relationships with executive business and technology owners.
• Coordinate overall strategy and objectives in conjunction with diverse businesses and key business partners across Wells Fargo.
• Directly accountable for product performance and value recognition of technology investments.
• Lead efforts to obtain and analyze customer/competitive information and market research related to services/products.
• Manage companywide efforts to align and coordinate distribution channels, systems requirements, product introduction, marketing, training, and ongoing product/service management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 4+ years of Management experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Deep understanding of the mortgage ecosystem, including external services, technology solutions, and regulations.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence outcomes at all levels across enterprise functions.
• Strong project planning with demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams through significant change.
• Experience in the banking and financial sectors, particularly related to Home Lending, Credit, and/or Risk Management.
• Agile Product Owner experience and knowledge of Agile strategy, development methodologies, and tools.
