About the position

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a motivated 1st-year MBA student for an internship within the Games Publishing Production team, focusing on the Hogwarts Legacy franchise. This role involves championing product strategy, conducting postmortem analyses, and providing competitive insights to enhance the franchise's market presence. The internship offers a unique opportunity to engage with industry professionals and gain hands-on experience in a leading media and entertainment company.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Player while balancing business goals to drive wins on both sides.
• Perform postmortem analysis on various features and activations to identify key business problems and develop data-driven insights.
• Support the team with competitive insights on new launches, strategies, and tactics.
• Deep dive into the PC/Console cross-platform games marketplace to understand long-term strategies around gaming franchises.
• Extend and justify the current Hogwarts Legacy franchise strategy through research and innovative thinking.
• Create visually compelling presentations to articulate strategy and franchise needs to senior management.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in a U.S.-accredited college or university MBA degree program for the full duration of the internship.
• Must be a 1st year MBA student in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA).
• Candidates must be data-driven, outgoing, and communicative.
• Extensive experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Advanced Excel.
• Ability to analyze data, generate hypotheses, and uncover key insights.

Nice-to-haves

• RStudio programming experience.
• Python programming experience.
• Extensive knowledge in analyzing and manipulating data in Looker, Tableau, and SQL.
• An appreciation or high interest in the Wizarding World.
