About the position

This position is for a Product Management role focused on ElectroMechanical Systems within an expanding company. The role has been newly created due to company growth and involves working on innovative projects across multiple industries. The successful candidate will be the key point of contact for new product development and customizations, collaborating with various teams to ensure the best outcomes for product releases and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key go-to person for new products and customizations to existing products.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, External Clients, Finance, and Manufacturing teams.
• Create presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept for technical and non-technical audiences, including C-Level and VP-Level executives.
• Evaluate design feasibility related to product manufacturability, usability, and repair.
• Utilize solid business acumen and technical expertise in PLC or Automation Software to drive product development.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to build relationships and gather insights for product improvements.
• Analyze user sensitivities and needs to inform product design and development.
• Report on performance metrics and competitive intelligence to guide product strategy.

Requirements

• Experience in a product-focused role with a strong emphasis on new product development and customization.
• Proven ability to create engaging presentations and demonstrations for diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of design feasibility and product lifecycle management.
• Technical expertise in PLC technology or Automation and Process Control Software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SCADA, DCS, HMI, Process Control, MES, or related software.
• A college degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
