About the position

The Product Management Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting organization-level projects related to technology and administration operations at Rainbow Centre. This position involves managing tools and IT solutions for various programs, particularly focusing on enhancing and innovating disability services to align with the organization's vision of thriving and inclusive communities. The specialist must possess strong communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Engage and influence stakeholders to analyze and document organizational and user needs, writing user stories and product feature requirements for enterprise applications.
• Plan and prioritize product features backlog for development, testing, and deployment.
• Support the sourcing, contracting, and management of relationships with software development and IT vendors to meet project requirements.
• Code Google Workspace apps to automate tasks using Google Apps Script, enabling effective management of Google Drive files and data extraction from Google Sheets for reports.
• Document and maintain the codes developed for applications.
• Manage product management plans and activities throughout each project phase, including risk mitigation, quarterly budget planning, and vendor procurement activities.
• Continuously improve product management operations processes to adapt to evolving organizational goals and project objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree/Diploma holder in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of working experience in product development in enterprise or consumer applications, or 3 years in a social service agency implementing change management initiatives.
• Experience in coding with JavaScript is a plus.
• Proficiency in using Google Apps Script to enhance Google Workspace apps.
