About the position

The Product Management - Transformation Analyst at Bank of America is responsible for overseeing analytical processes related to complex regulatory reporting for operations product teams. This role involves managing projects and workstreams that focus on systems enhancements and process improvements, while serving as a subject matter expert and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to address complex issues. The position aims to centralize and standardize regulatory reporting across Global Market Operations, ensuring compliance and quality in reporting practices.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers highly complex regulatory reports to regulatory agencies in line with expectations on completeness, accuracy, quality, and timeliness
  • Defines and executes control practices, including compliance with all regulatory and policy requirements, including data quality standards
  • Ensures that key risks, performance indicators, and desktop procedures are fully documented, reviewed regularly, and escalated where necessary
  • Responds to inquiries from regulatory agencies and internal control partners, providing necessary reporting
  • Establishes credible, collaborative, and influential relationships with key senior stakeholders
  • Identifies, tracks, and remediates errors, breaches, data issues, and control enhancements that impact reports
  • Coordinates with upstream process owners and data providers to improve data quality of regulatory reports
  • Collaborates with Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Interpretation and Technology teams to maintain data dictionaries for completeness of business requirements

Requirements

  • Help deliver a comprehensive product strategy across reporting platforms
  • Develop complex advancement reports using SQL, Microsoft Office, and other utilities or languages as necessary
  • Write SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures to extract data
  • Attend to ad-hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish a robust prioritization model for report automation, product enhancement, and data quality improvements
  • Implement effective routines to ensure business requirements are understood, tracked, and documented
  • Establish comprehensive, data-informed, and long-term strategy for enhancing reporting platforms and report automation

Nice-to-haves

  • Global Markets Operations Project Management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of VBA, SQL
  • Ability to provide clear oral and written communication to various audiences
  • Ability to communicate business value, program vision, and roadmap to stakeholders
