About the position

The position at Bank of America is focused on overseeing and enhancing analytical processes for complex regulatory reporting within the Global Markets operations. The role involves managing projects, serving as a subject matter expert, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fostering collaboration across various teams. Responsibilities

  • Deliver highly complex regulatory reports to regulatory agencies ensuring completeness, accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
  • Define and execute control practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory and policy requirements, including data quality standards.
  • Document key risks, performance indicators, and desktop procedures in line with enterprise standards, reviewing and escalating as necessary.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies and internal control partners, providing necessary reporting.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with key senior stakeholders, including FLU and Front Office partners.
  • Identify, track, and remediate errors, breaches, data issues, and control enhancements affecting reports.
  • Coordinate with upstream process owners and data providers to improve data quality of regulatory reports.

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering comprehensive product strategies across reporting platforms.
  • Proficiency in developing complex advancement reports using SQL and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to write SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures for data extraction.
  • Experience in managing ad-hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capability to establish a robust prioritization model for report automation and data quality improvements.
  • Experience in implementing effective routines to ensure business requirements are understood and documented.
  • Ability to drive execution improvements in Agile processes for consistent product management practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Global Markets Operations Project Management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of VBA and SQL.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to communicate business value and program vision effectively.
