About the position

As a Product Manager in the Trust & Safety team at TikTok, you will be responsible for driving the Age Assurance safety product strategy. This role focuses on ensuring compliance and integrity of the platform while enhancing the safety of creators and viewers across different age groups. You will collaborate with various internal teams to develop safety product features and strategies, manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, and address risky behaviors within the community. The position requires a strong understanding of the minor safety domain and the ability to integrate industry trends and user feedback into product development.

Responsibilities

  • Driving Age Assurance safety product strategy that ensures compliance and integrity of the platform.
  • Delivering this strategy by setting ambitious yet achievable goals, success metrics, and roadmap.
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive execution of the roadmap, making trade-offs, and ensuring clear communication.
  • Owning the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to execution.
  • Deeply understanding the minor safety/age assurance domain and staying informed about industry trends, user feedback, and regulatory landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or an equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management for consumer-facing products.
  • Proven track record of leading successful product initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical ability to demonstrate data to drive product decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively across broad teams and influence stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience and expertise in trust and safety, fraud detection, identification, or related areas.
  • Experience in project management with cross-functional teams across different time zones, cultures, and languages.
