About the position

The Product Manager is responsible for owning the vision, strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for products within a product group. This role involves managing the product backlog, prioritizing work, and making product-related decisions based on customer and stakeholder needs. The focus is on identifying gaps in product features, capturing requirements, and defining outcomes, while also collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators and success metrics for the Responsible AI program.
  • Lead the unification of governance functions into the Responsible AI framework.
  • Develop and manage the AI governance roadmap, building partnerships with relevant stakeholder teams.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to integrate AI governance into product development processes.
  • Stay updated on responsible AI frameworks, practices, and regulations.
  • Build relationships with business and product stakeholders to facilitate adoption of responsible AI practices.
  • Provide direction to cross-functional teams, communicating the framework roadmap and updates.
  • Influence the AI product planning process by communicating responsible AI requirements for releases.
  • Identify and prioritize process-level issues and operational gaps with stakeholders.
  • Track and report on responsible AI adoption, utilizing feedback for future updates.
  • Align efforts across product teams to maintain focus and momentum.
  • Partner with AI platform teams to incorporate governance features into the AI product lifecycle.
  • Attend stakeholder reviews, supplying product/feature results and input into business cases.
  • Represent the team in product-level discussions, using data analysis to address complex problems.
  • Review and approve large requirements (Epics) and smaller requirements (Stories).
  • Work with Learning & Development to design and deliver Responsible AI training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2 years of experience in project management, product management, business analysis, program management, or product marketing.
  • 1 year of experience in product and/or experience management.
  • Strong writing ability.
  • Experience in an agile software environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a large organization.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership.
  • Experience translating data into quantifiable actions/deliverables.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or similar advanced degree.
  • CSPO Certification.
  • Knowledge of AI model lifecycle processes.
  • Understanding of LLM's and conventional ML.
  • Knowledge of risk frameworks and assessments.
  • Experience with compliance and/or governance related products.
