About the position

As a Product Manager Analyst at JPMorgan Chase Bank, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of product innovation within the Early Careers area product team. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about driving value for customers and guiding successful product launches. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality products that resonate with clients and exceed their expectations. In this role, you will act as the voice of the customer, utilizing your deep understanding of product development to innovate new offerings and lead the end-to-end product life cycle. Your responsibilities will include developing a product strategy and vision that delivers tangible value to customers, managing discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions, and integrating these insights into the product roadmap. You will own and maintain a product backlog that supports the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition, ensuring that the development team has clear guidance on priorities. You will also be responsible for building the framework to track key success metrics, features, functionality, risk posture, and reliability of the product. Engaging with technical members of client teams, you will deliver presentations and technical demonstrations on product capabilities and solutions. Your role will require you to identify and define development requirements for product design enhancements based on client feedback, and support the configuration and modification of the firm's products and solutions in partnership with Technology to fit complex client use cases. Additionally, you will identify technology and tooling dependencies, drive product solutions, and lead feasibility and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) stages of product development. Your ability to present findings and insights to team members and stakeholders from multi-disciplinary backgrounds will be crucial in this role, as you work collaboratively to ensure the successful launch and ongoing improvement of products.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers

  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics, features and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Innovate and optimize solutions and tailor products for complex client needs
  • Engages with technical members of client teams to deliver presentations and technical demonstrations on product capabilities and solutions
  • Identifies and defines development requirements for product design enhancements based on client feedback
  • Supports the configuration and modification of the firm's products and solutions, often in partnership with Technology, to fit complex client use cases
  • Identify technology and tooling dependencies and drive product solutions
  • Lead feasibility and UAT stages of product development

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience working with clients in a technology field and interfacing with engineers
  • Demonstrated ability to present findings and insights to team members and stakeholders from multi-disciplinary backgrounds
