About the position

As a Product Manager for App Store Growth Analytics and Insights at Apple, you will play a crucial role in designing and building innovative analytics tools for app developers. This position involves collaborating with various cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that help developers enhance their app performance on the App Store. You will leverage your expertise in data analytics to advocate for developers' needs and establish a strategic vision for analytics tools, ensuring they align with Apple's standards for privacy and data protection.

Responsibilities

  • Understand app developers' goals for driving business outcomes on Apple's platforms and advocate their needs to create great analytics tools in App Store Connect.
  • Leverage data to build intuitive tools that help developers make better decisions, such as peer group benchmarks, A/B testing the App Store product page, and automated insights.
  • Deliver scalable analytics and insights in a dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Use analytics to inform developer adoption of App Store features, like Custom Product Pages, In-App Events, Offers and more.
  • Establish a product vision and strategy for App Store developer analytics, and implement via incremental feature launches.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or engineering experience with data analytics and reporting in a digital industry.
  • Solid understanding and experience working with data pipelines, business metrics, and data visualizations in the mobile app industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively using data and insights.
  • BA/BS or equivalent; Advanced degree a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Full product lifecycle management experience, including user acceptance testing, launch, measuring success, and end of life processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; can clearly and effectively communicate and maintain relationships with a cross-functional group of internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity to understand complex systems.
  • Excellent written & verbal business communication skills.
  • Strong storytelling skills, including the ability to put data into context for non-technical audiences.
  • A curiosity about large language models (LLMs) and generative AI capabilities and how they might be leveraged to enable innovative developer tools.
  • Comfortable building products and visualizations that leverage big data and production-grade data pipelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to see the big picture.
  • Able to thrive in highly collaborative projects, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Knowledge of mobile software ecosystems, including competitive and 3rd party products and strategy.
  • Proficiency with Keynote and strong presentation abilities.
