Within this context, Korn Ferry Digital is a product business unit that develops and sells a suite of talent products and HR technology across various solution areas, including Organizational Strategy, Assessment and Succession, Talent Acquisition, Leadership and Professional Development, Sales and Service, and Total Rewards. The focus of this role is on the Assessment and Succession solutions, specifically through the tools KF Assess and KF Select, which are designed to evaluate and identify talent within organizations. These tools provide insights into employee capabilities and streamline the hiring process through data-driven assessments. The Product Manager for Assessment and Succession Planning will play a crucial role in executing the vision for talent and product analytics within these solutions. This position involves defining product strategy, conducting market research, gathering customer feedback, and driving innovative solutions. The Product Manager will be responsible for researching customer problems, validating product ideas, prioritizing features, writing user stories, testing prototypes, launching products, and measuring outcomes. Acting as the voice of the customer, the Product Manager will champion the product within the organization and collaborate with various teams, including commercial teams, solution consultants, external vendors, and data engineers, to ensure the success of the product roadmap and initiatives. This role requires a customer-centric approach, innovative thinking, and the ability to manage the product lifecycle from definition to sunset. The Product Manager will also explore opportunities for AI integration to enhance user outcomes and ensure that the products remain innovative and competitive in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on specific product features that align with the vision for innovative Assessment and Succession solutions and analytics capabilities.
  • Uncover customer pain points and identify market opportunities through direct and indirect interactions with customers and analysts.
  • Collaborate with vertical business leaders and go-to-market teams to create, launch, and scale packaged solutions for market-leading customers.
  • Identify and explore opportunities to adopt Artificial Intelligence to drive better user outcomes.
  • Work closely with decentralized agile development teams to deliver products and engage in technical conversations.
  • Manage all aspects of product capability throughout the product lifecycle, from definition to sunset.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management with a proven design and delivery record for cloud solutions.
  • Familiarity with Talent Management, HCM, Assessment, Analytics, and Talent Marketplace solution companies and their offerings.
  • Technical acumen with hands-on experience in software development.
  • Experience in conducting market research, customer feedback, user testing, and data analysis to drive product improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to work with distributed teams across different time zones.
