About the position

The Product Manager will act as a product evangelist, focusing on enhancing the performance of the AV portfolio in alignment with business strategies. This role involves analyzing market trends, managing product roadmaps, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful product launches and retirements. The Product Manager will also be responsible for creating business cases for new products and providing education to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the product evangelist, identifying opportunities to improve the AV portfolio's performance.
  • Track and analyze product portfolio performance and profitability against targets.
  • Research and monitor market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and manage the execution of a product roadmap.
  • Provide guidance as product owner for Agile development.
  • Create compelling business cases for new product ideas, including sales and profitability forecasts.
  • Develop integrated go-to-market plans and schedules.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to create marketing messages and product collateral.
  • Provide product education to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan and manage the process to retire products from the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering, computer science, or a technical field (or equivalent technical experience).
  • 5-8 years of product management experience or a combination of MBA degree and product management, marketing, product development, or business development experience.
  • Experience leading, coordinating, and/or managing cross-functional teams in planning, developing, or implementing IT products or systems.

  • Possesses solid business acumen to monitor and analyze product portfolio performance.
