About the position

The Product Manager at Accruent is responsible for the strategic development and success of a product or product line. This role involves collaborating with the Product Line GM/VP to define product vision, set strategic goals, and ensure alignment with business objectives while delivering value to customers. The position requires cross-functional collaboration, market research, and effective communication with stakeholders to drive product development from concept to launch.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive product strategy in partnership with the Product Line GM.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the vision and key milestones for the product's development.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective execution of the product strategy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on the product's progress and soliciting feedback.
  • Define and prioritize features and initiatives based on customer feedback, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to guide product development from concept to launch, defining requirements and ensuring alignment with goals.
  • Plan and execute product launches in collaboration with product marketing, influencing marketing strategies and customer training.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the product's success and track its performance over time.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, including updates, enhancements, and retirements.
  • Develop and manage the product budget, including resource allocation and cost control.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to enhance the product and address areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, computer science) or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in product management, including a track record of successful product launches.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and product management methodologies.
  • Understanding and awareness of AI tools to help expedite product management work.
  • Experience building AI tooling, analytics, and predictive intelligence into products with concrete examples.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Market research and competitive analysis skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
