About the position

The Product Manager for Buyer Product Architecture at Visa will play a crucial role in defining the payments and product platform strategy. This position involves transforming business requirements into detailed use cases, identifying user pain points, and designing holistic solutions. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, perform sprint planning, and ensure successful product delivery while tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities

• Work with product leaders to define payments and product platform strategy.
• Write requirements and transform business requirements into detailed use cases.
• Identify user pain points and design holistic solutions.
• Prioritize features in an agile manner as market needs and development resources evolve.
• Engage with cross-functional engineering teams to determine the best technical solution and implementation timelines.
• Perform sprint planning and grooming of user story backlog.
• Design user experiences and build mockups for product ideas.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing.
• Define KPIs, track and measure success against KPIs and SLAs.
• Build presentations for executives, internal and external stakeholders.
• Build business cases and pricing models to support commercialization efforts.
• Work with operation and engineering teams to develop and roll out operational support models.
• Partner with business and technology teams globally to communicate and support sales enablement for new features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of experience in product management or related occupation.
• Experience translating client or user needs into technical requirements for developers.
• Familiarity with software service development methodologies.
• Knowledge of RESTful API architectures.
• Analytical and data-driven approach towards product prioritization and delivery.
• Experience in distributed systems design.
• Understanding of API usability.
