About the position

The Product Manager for Cloud Products at Google DeepMind will play a pivotal role in driving the productization of research breakthroughs and enhancing product offerings. This position involves close collaboration with research teams and product groups within the Google Cloud organization to define product roadmaps, influence cross-functional collaborations, and ensure the successful launch and deployment of innovative products.

Responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with teams across organizations to understand top priorities and identify where Google DeepMind's technology can have the greatest impact.
• Define product roadmaps by operationalizing strategy and developing a product vision that supports the overall product narrative and direction.
• Assure product success by ensuring products are built and deployed boldly and responsibly.
• Influence cross-functional collaborations to build momentum and accelerate work forward.
• Proactively identify and address possible issues by guiding and mediating between teams to find mutual solutions.
• Drive product opportunities from research to launch, leading teams across functions to achieve collective goals.
• Serve as an expert for critical product-related decisions across several functions for the product(s) and features.
• Act as a spokesperson for product(s) or team(s) of considerable scope and complexity, explaining how products fit into the larger strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• Experience delivering products under pressing timelines and engaging a range of stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Expertise in Machine Learning / ML Products.
• Experience in Generative AI.
• Masters or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Understanding of the cloud services market and users.

Benefits

• Base salary range between $142,000 - $219,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
