About the position
The Product Manager - Cloud Software (Metrology) at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is responsible for leading the growth and expansion of the Autonomous Metrology suite within the Metrology Software portfolio. This role focuses on delivering innovative cloud-based Metrology software, ensuring alignment with market needs, and driving product strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position requires a strong background in Metrology technologies and B2B software, particularly in cloud adoption and SaaS models.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of cloud-based Metrology product roadmaps, including investment decisions and release planning.
- Interface with internal teams on market trends and customer needs.
- Meet with global customers to define use cases and critical functions.
- Present product strategy and roadmap health to stakeholders.
- Guide Product Owners on customer discovery and ideation.
- Gather and synthesize market, customer, and competitive research for product enhancements.
- Create and manage success metrics based on action plans.
- Collaborate with product marketing on pricing and launch strategies.
- Lead Product Owners in best practices for product development in a SAFe environment.
- Drive product and customer migration to Hexagon's Nexus cloud platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Metrology as a product manager or business development.
- Solid technical background in Metrology software and devices.
- Understanding of the Metrology market and OEM models.
- Proven track record of launching new software products to market.
- Experience in cloud-based (SaaS) software product management.
- SAFe agile experience is desirable.
- Experience in Analytics or AI technologies is preferred.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
