About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. The Creator Monetization product team is dedicated to empowering creators by providing economic opportunities that enhance their ability to share their passion and creativity through videos. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the product strategy that supports the passion economy, finding solutions, and creating opportunities independently. This full-time position is preferably located in the Bay Area, where you will work collaboratively with teams focused on creator success on the platform. As a Product Manager for Creator Monetization, you will spark innovation within your teams, owning the product strategy and execution for features and programs designed to empower and support creators. You will create prototypes and wireframes based on a deep understanding of user journeys, collaborating with designers to ensure an intuitive user experience. A data-driven approach will guide your product delivery and iterations from end to end, ensuring that the needs of creators and their fans are expertly balanced to create delightful product experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Spark innovation within the teams responsible for creator success on the platform
  • Own the product strategy and execution for features and programs designed to empower and support our creators
  • Create prototypes and wireframes based on a concrete understanding of user journey, collaborating with designers to create an intuitive user experience
  • Leverage a data-driven approach to guide product delivery and iterations from end to end

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience building monetization features or managing monetization products at a consumer-focused technology company
  • Demonstrate empathy for our creators and their fans, expertly balancing the needs of both to create delightful product experiences
  • Experience performing product-oriented quantitative and statistical analysis, communicating results and insights to stakeholders

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of user-generated content platforms is a plus
  • Product experience with creator tools is a plus, including but not limited to creator onboarding tools, content management tools, educational tools, data insight tools, creative tools
  • Product experience with marketplace supply strategy and quality control is a plus
  • Product experience with e-commerce platform and payment solution is a plus
