About the position

The Product Manager, Customer Identity at Ford Motor Company is responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of a unified customer identity platform. This role focuses on transforming customer interactions by creating a seamless and personalized experience across various touchpoints. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop identity resolution technologies that enhance customer understanding and satisfaction, ultimately driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Customer Identity within the Customer and Accounts Data Platform.
  • Lead the design and development of Ford Credit's customer identity graph to create a unified customer profile.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, privacy, and security teams to implement identity resolution solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify use cases and requirements for identity resolution.
  • Drive the adoption of identity resolution capabilities across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of identity resolution initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security standards.
  • Define and establish data governance across the organization.
  • Analyze business processes to define data quality and stewardship for the Customer Identity product.
  • Write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and user stories for identity resolution features.
  • Act as the product owner in an Agile development environment, prioritizing backlog items and facilitating sprint planning.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate insights into the strategy.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to improve AI/ML models for identity resolution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, focusing on identity resolution or customer data platforms.
  • Deep understanding of identity resolution technologies and methodologies.
  • Experience working with customer data across various channels.
  • Strong technical background in data integration, API, and security concepts.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Experience with customer data platforms, Master Data Management platforms, and Graph Databases.
  • Strong analytical skills to derive insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in developing roadmaps, writing PRDs, and working in Agile environments.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in customer identity is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
