About the position

The Product Manager for Data and AI in Manufacturing & Engineering at GSK is responsible for managing D&A products that enhance the success of Manufacturing & Engineering activities within the Global Supply Chain. This role serves as a strategic link between business and technology, leveraging domain knowledge and product management skills to define product visions and roadmaps. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to identify opportunities, prioritize work, and ensure the delivery of high-quality D&A solutions aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage Data & AI (D&A) products to improve Manufacturing & Engineering activities.
• Act as a strategic bridge between business and Tech/Data worlds.
• Define and agree on vision and roadmaps for D&A products.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and assess value.
• Oversee an annual budgetary spend and manage third-party data/tech specialists.
• Create clear and compelling D&A Product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Iteratively refine the D&A Product Roadmap and backlog based on feedback.
• Own the D&AI Product backlog and participate in planning sessions.
• Engage with D&AI Architecture team to ensure technical design alignment.
• Confirm delivery meets business requirements and creates expected value.
• Ensure overall quality and compliance of D&A Products.
• Coach and guide the wider product team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of professional experience in a commercial manufacturing industry within a regulated environment.
• Experience in product or project management, managing complex data and analytics products.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, Cloud Purdue Model, and IIoT.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), MES, and customer-facing technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• Extensive experience in data and analytics technologies and methodologies.
• Strong technical background in cloud-based data and analytics.
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry business processes.
