About the position

The Product Manager for Data and AI at IBM is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and collaborating with various teams to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The role ensures that the product aligns with IBM's overall strategy and objectives, focusing on Hybrid Cloud technologies and AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
• Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements.
• Define the product vision and strategy.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Support teams.
• Ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Manage all activities associated with the product lifecycle.
• Generate product collateral such as whitepapers and technical marketing materials.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
• Create business plans and investment justification.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall experience in product management.
• 5+ years of experience in technical product management.
• Experience in defining Portfolio & Product Strategy for Hybrid Cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Virtualization, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Public Cloud environments.
• Exposure to AI technologies and their applications.
• Ability to manage product lifecycle activities in collaboration with various functional groups.
• Experience in generating product collateral and conducting market research.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to product managing SaaS Hybrid Cloud On-Prem platforms.
