The Product Manager, Data Management role at Safety National is a pivotal position within the Information Technology Department, responsible for strategizing and producing roadmaps for data management products. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with business goals and market needs, while also acting as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for data management products.
  • Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, engineering, and business stakeholders to align products with business goals.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and oversee project management activities.
  • Continuously improve best practices and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Product Management, specifically in data management or data engineering.
  • Three or more approved certifications within the job area.
  • Proven experience managing data platforms, data governance tools, ETL processes, or data integration products.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and privacy.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, preferably the Scaled Agile Framework for enterprises.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud-based data management platforms such as Snowflake or Azure.
  • Experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance sector.
