About the position
The Product Manager for UltraThineer at Boston Micro Fabrication will oversee the innovative line of cosmetic veneers, directing activities related to go-to-market strategies, clinical validation, lab customer management, and overall product strategy. This role requires collaboration with various departments including marketing, manufacturing, and finance, and involves building the UltraThineer brand and managing lab partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the point person for the UltraThineer product line.
- Collaborate with marketing, manufacturing, and finance teams within the BMF organization.
- Develop and maintain clinical and process proof points for lab training and validation.
- Recruit and manage lab partners for UltraThineer.
- Build and promote the UltraThineer brand.
- Launch and roll out products to lab partners in the U.S.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, or science.
- 5 years of relevant experience in product management, sales, or business development in the dental industry.
- Customer-oriented consultative approach and solution selling expertise.
- Understanding of dental lab workflows, preferably through hands-on experience as a dental technician.
- Ability to adapt to a start-up environment and work within an early-stage business.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in additive manufacturing.
- Familiarity with international travel for business purposes.
