The Digital Engagement Product Manager at Freeman will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's engagement with virtual event products. This position is designed for a professional who is eager to collaborate closely with the Director of Digital Product Management and contribute to impactful projects that encompass both business strategy and product feature development. The responsibilities of the Digital Engagement Product Manager will span various aspects, including the development of responsive websites, mobile web applications, user experience enhancements, and the management of third-party engagement partnerships. In this role, the Digital Engagement Product Manager will ensure effective communication with the Director of Digital Product Management and product leadership across the global digital team. A comprehensive approach will be taken to identify and define customer needs, ultimately delivering tailored product solutions. The manager will conduct competitive analyses, develop business cases, perform pricing analyses, and evaluate buy/build/partner strategies. This role will also involve creating go-to-market strategies and leveraging feedback mechanisms to foster a collaborative environment that encourages rapid win/fail behaviors. The Digital Engagement Product Manager will drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders, customers, and team members to define and deliver results. This includes focusing on achieving common goals, leading discussions, and gathering information to generate innovative ideas, concepts, and solutions. The manager will be responsible for providing insights into industry best practices and strategies that enhance value creation from both live and virtual marketing experiences. Additionally, the role involves working closely with Freeman's strategy teams, design, marketing, and creative teams across divisions, as well as collaborating with development teams to enhance customer engagement. The manager will create and maintain product roadmaps, customer personas, journey maps, and process flows to effectively communicate product value. This position will also require high visibility within the organization and with clients, driving excellence by integrating strategy and data-design practices into Freeman's design-thinking framework. The Digital Engagement Product Manager will identify and define product vision, goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital products and services. Engaging clients in defining new metrics of success will be crucial to unlocking greater value from investments in live and virtual mediums, ultimately enhancing exhibitor ROI through community engagement. Establishing strong relationships with third-party partners and leading the research and selection of preferred partners will also be key responsibilities. The manager will actively participate in application development processes, including daily stand-ups, user story grooming, release planning, and acceptance testing, while continuously gathering user feedback. Monitoring market trends and tracking customer needs will be essential for prioritizing product features and innovations. The Digital Engagement Product Manager will maintain a strong understanding of the economics of Freeman's products and services to maximize profitability, while owning relationships with key customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to drive growth and maximize opportunities. Proactive problem-solving and recommending options for project success will be integral to this role, along with assisting in product prioritization and backlog grooming.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, goals, objectives, and KPIs for digital products and services.
  • Engage clients in defining new metrics of success for live and virtual mediums.
  • Establish relationships with third-party partnerships and lead partner selection analysis.
  • Participate in application development processes including stand-ups and release planning.
  • Track and analyze external customer needs to prioritize product features and Agile user stories.
  • Monitor market trends regarding current features and future digital product innovations.
  • Maintain understanding of the economics of Freeman products to maximize profitability.
  • Own relationships with key customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to drive growth.
  • Proactively problem solve and recommend options for project success.
  • Assist in product prioritization and enhancement backlog grooming.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in product management.
  • Four (4) or more years of experience performing similar duties.
  • Demonstrated record of digital project execution from conception through implementation.
  • Knowledge of the agile project management process.
  • Experience in the live and virtual events market.
