About the position

The Product Manager for Digital & Marketing at Walgreens is responsible for the strategic development and management of initiatives aimed at driving traffic, conversion, revenue growth, and profitability for online channels. This role involves collaboration with IT, Marketing, and other non-eCommerce entities within Walgreens to optimize product offerings and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Translate divisional sales goals and customer experience into a product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain the product and feature roadmap for assigned areas.
  • Identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet goals.
  • Work with engineering and design teams to define product requirements.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts or Associate Product Managers.
  • Grow adoption and usage of Walgreens' online store by identifying customer segments with growth potential.
  • Implement growth strategies by coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Measure and analyze the impact of existing functionalities and pricing strategies.
  • Conduct business and financial analysis, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Write and refine business requirements based on data and discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of product management experience in online technology or management strategy consulting, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in consumer-facing online commerce.
  • At least 2 years of experience in product marketing, product/program management, business development, or management consulting.
  • Experience in eCommerce areas such as Content Tools, Search & Browse, SEO/SEM, or Cart and Checkout.
  • Experience with the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels.
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting data to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Experience leading or collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet departmental goals.
  • Experience in identifying operational issues and implementing strategies to resolve them.
  • At least 1 year of direct or indirect leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and methodologies.
