About the position

Vestcom is seeking a Product Manager for Digital Media to join our Product Management team, which is pivotal in driving the growth of our company. This role is essential in the continual improvement and creation of products and services that meet our clients' needs. As a Product Manager, you will act as a bridge between identifying customer needs and delivering viable and profitable solutions. You will work closely with Sales and IT, serving as an evangelist and steward for Vestcom's products, both internally and externally. Your responsibilities will encompass market research, defining user needs through user stories, and understanding the technical aspects of SaaS roadmap development and system integrations. In this position, you will collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, including Innovation, Strategy, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and IT. Your role will involve gathering and communicating business requirements through wireframes, testing ideas and enhancements, conducting client, market, and user research, and leveraging product and IT tools to develop and maintain product backlogs delivered through agile sprints. You will focus on building a partner strategy for next-generation in-store digital media experience solutions and driving product value for retailers and CPGs. This includes working on digital solutions, such as e-commerce services, as part of the broader SaaS solution provided by Vestcom. Key responsibilities include working with internal solutions and third-party partners to identify better solutions that deliver value to both retailers and CPGs, defining product integration requirements, and staying updated on partner products and strategic investment areas. You will analyze customer requirements, market trends, and competitive gaps to identify new areas for integration with partner technologies. Additionally, you will champion and present opportunities to management and key stakeholders, develop product requirements based on a data-driven approach, and work with marketing teams to communicate key messages and customer value.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal solutions and third-party partners to identify better solutions to deliver both retailer and CPG value.
  • Define product integration requirements and collaborate with partners on the development of joint solutions.
  • Stay abreast of partner products and strategic investment areas.
  • Identify new areas for integrations with partner technologies by analyzing customer requirements, market trends, competitive gaps, and business impact.
  • Champion and present opportunities to management and key stakeholders for consideration.
  • Develop product requirements based on a data-driven approach and inputs from stakeholders across the business.
  • Work with IT and the platform product manager to interpret client needs into epics and user stories, prioritized against a backlog.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to communicate key messages and customer value for field and customer-facing collateral.
  • Manage and present product roadmaps aligned to company strategic initiatives and revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • Obsession with client feedback and data-driven product performance.
  • Strong product management and technical background to understand product architecture and integration.
  • Experience working with emerging products and technologies.
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience with product management/technical experience.
  • Background in digital media, CPG, and/or retail industry, software engineering, or technical engineering is ideal.
  • Knowledge of the CPG and retail industry, as well as in-store media experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with the product team and across partner teams including IT and Sales.
  • Focus and results-oriented to drive hard to deliver on expectations.
  • Comfort working within a larger ecosystem of SaaS applications.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and its benefits.
  • Familiarity in creating code-free wireframes for initial prototyping of concepts.
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with leading tools such as Miro, DevOps, Oracle, Figma, Google Slides, Google Sheets, SmartSheet.
