About the position

The North America Digital Product Manager at Mastercard will be responsible for leading the development and commercialization of digital payment products, focusing on network tokenization, checkout, and card provisioning. This role requires collaboration with various internal stakeholders and aims to enhance the digital checkout experience for consumers while managing relationships with major financial institutions and merchants. The position emphasizes the importance of customer feedback and market analysis to drive product innovation and value in the digital payments ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the future of digital checkout with a focus on monetization, checkout conversion, and transaction success optimization.
  • Manage end-to-end product responsibilities for the digital checkout and card provisioning experiences.
  • Incorporate Voice of Customer feedback into product management decisions.
  • Collaborate with Global Product Management to enhance Mastercard's digital capabilities.
  • Develop clear value propositions and sales enablement materials for merchants and issuers.
  • Identify industry trends and opportunities to expand Mastercard's reach in digital payments.
  • Conduct market landscape analysis to identify new customer segments for enablement efforts.
  • Define and build the roadmap for Value-Added Services workstream.

Requirements

  • Strong product management expertise with a proven ability to execute complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in synthesizing large datasets to inform product development.
  • Ability to articulate customer business requirements for internal sizing and development.
  • Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders to prioritize and influence product development.
  • Experience working with account managers and engineers to design and launch products.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills for customer-facing interactions.
  • Proven ability to build trust in cross-functional relationships.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
