About the position

As a Product Manager for Digital Shop Path at Sephora, you will be responsible for delivering an innovative digital shopping experience across various platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute the Shop Path strategy, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for users. You will lead efforts to optimize the shopping path, troubleshoot issues, and drive product improvements based on user research and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Support overarching Shop Path product strategy, identifying and prioritizing business desires and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with key business and tech stakeholders to communicate a clear vision and align partners.
  • Work with Client Experience, Site Production, Marketing, and other teams to enhance digital experiences.
  • Partner with Engineering to identify implementation options and guide prioritization.
  • Drive requirements from concept through launch, collaborating with internal and external teams.
  • Manage day-to-day troubleshooting and prioritization of Shop Path incidents and bugs.
  • Maintain a healthy backlog of Shop Path related user stories.
  • Assess technical questions and partner with Engineering to resolve issues.
  • Develop success metrics for projects and monitor post-launch results through analysis.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management with a successful history of launching effective products for large transactional websites.
  • Proven experience in optimizing user interfaces and improving user experience on web and mobile platforms.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies and principles.
  • Demonstrated experience with agile development cycles and release processes.
  • Experience using JIRA and agile methodologies.
  • Data-driven decision making and experience conducting user research.
  • Prior experience in an e-commerce environment focusing on optimizing the shopping path.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for collaboration with business and technical teams.
  • Proficient in Product Roadmap Planning tools, such as Aha!
  • Technical acumen to understand software development processes and technologies.
