About the position

The Product Manager for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform at SS&C Salentica is responsible for leading the development and execution of product strategies for managed solutions within the investment management industry. This role involves managing product backlogs, prioritizing features, and ensuring alignment with business objectives while acting as the primary liaison with Microsoft for partnership engagements. The position requires a blend of product management expertise and strategic partnership skills, with a focus on enhancing product offerings and navigating Microsoft's support ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of product strategy for Dynamics 365 managed solutions.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features and enhancements, and ensure alignment with business objectives and market needs.
  • Regularly update and build managed solutions that include moderate to complex Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and other Power Platform components.
  • Act as the primary liaison with Microsoft, overseeing CSP and ASfP engagements.
  • Work closely with Microsoft Partner Success Account Managers (PSAMs) to advocate for support needs and handle escalations.
  • Proactively manage support tickets from the internal support team, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Leverage experience with Microsoft's partner programs and CSP frameworks to navigate support scenarios effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product needs, define user stories, and prioritize features.
  • Oversee user access management, partner benefits, and membership within Microsoft's Partner Center.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Microsoft guidelines.
  • Continuously assess and refine partnership strategies to maximize value from Microsoft relationships.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders and partners, communicating product strategy and updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Administration and/or Microsoft Power Platform Administration.
  • Direct experience working within Microsoft's partner ecosystem, particularly with CSP and ASfP programs.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft's Power Platform and Dynamics 365 in managed solution environments.
  • Proven experience navigating Microsoft's support and service systems.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically while managing multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the financial services industry, specifically wealth management and/or asset management.
  • Familiarity with technical tools and platforms, including Azure DevOps, Confluence, and D365 Enterprise Sales and Marketing (Online).
  • Microsoft Certifications: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate, Power Platform Developer Associate.
  • A strong sense of curiosity and a knack for turning challenges into opportunities.
