About the position

The Product Manager for the Electricity Portfolio at Honeywell will oversee the introduction of new products into the market, focusing on the energy industry. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing product development initiatives, and ensuring successful execution from concept to launch. The position requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of product lifecycle management, particularly in the context of connected electricity utilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategy for new product introductions aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams to create product roadmaps.
  • Lead cross-functional teams throughout the NPI process, ensuring alignment on milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resource allocation for product launches.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to develop go-to-market strategies and pricing models.
  • Plan and coordinate product launch activities, including sales training and market communications.
  • Monitor market reception and customer feedback post-launch to optimize product positioning.
  • Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding NPI initiatives.
  • Communicate project status updates and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Conduct post-launch reviews to evaluate NPI project success against KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and product enhancements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or related roles.
  • Proven track record in customer discovery, NPD execution, and NPI acceleration.
  • Experience in developing business case financials and creating offering roadmaps.
