About the position

The Federal Certification Analyst at F5 Networks is responsible for supporting compliance audits and assessments related to various Federal Certification standards, including FIPS and Common Criteria. This role involves collaboration with product development teams and external certifying bodies to ensure timely feedback and remediation of issues. The analyst will manage third-party evaluations, documentation, and communication with stakeholders to facilitate successful certification processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for product management certifications for software and hardware.
  • Align with procurement, legal, and security for third-party onboarding activities.
  • Balance third-party evaluation rotation to avoid delays in certification processes.
  • Manage third-party gap analysis and transition official reports into JIRA tickets.
  • Participate in onsite evaluations and testing.
  • Budget, order, and ship physical equipment and tools for timely testing.
  • Collaborate with product management, product development, and certification architects on certification efforts.
  • Track certification-specific status and open initiatives for issues raised by third parties.
  • Manage business finances related to invoice approval and milestone tracking.
  • Maintain the F5 Certification public-facing dashboard.

Requirements

  • Experience with Federal Certification standards such as FIPS and Common Criteria.
  • Strong collaboration skills with product development teams and product management.
  • Experience in managing third-party evaluations and certifications.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing JIRA tickets for issue remediation.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial tracking related to certification processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DoD facilities and government testing processes.
  • Familiarity with procurement and legal aspects of third-party onboarding.
  • Understanding of certification-specific documentation requirements.
