About the position

The Product Manager (FinTech) is responsible for managing user story creation, prioritization, grooming, and oversight for top digital client experiences. This role involves working closely with an agile scrum team and acting as the primary point of contact for production bugs and client escalations. The Product Manager must advocate for clients, understand their needs, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage user story creation, prioritization, grooming, and oversight for digital client experiences.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for production bugs and client escalations.
  • Translate product vision into specific deliverables and manage the product backlog.
  • Lead a development scrum team toward key objectives and results.
  • Practice design thinking and data-driven decision making to evolve work across teams.
  • Frame challenges as problems to be solved through critical thinking and collaboration.
  • Focus on business impact and produce actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Build key relationships and influence teams across the enterprise to drive scale and deliver outcomes.
  • Accountable for discovery and developing client experience requirements.
  • Prioritize work through opportunity validation and stakeholder consensus building.
  • Develop implementation plans by collaborating with teams to determine technical feasibility.
  • Generate innovative ideas based on market analytics and stakeholder interactions.
  • Champion Agile methodologies in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization.
  • Work cross-functionally with technical, design, business, and compliance teams to define product release requirements.
  • Understand backend architecture associated with experiences.
  • Lead data analysis using tools like Adobe Analytics and Splunk.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years agile scrum experience
  • 3 to 5 years digital Product Ownership experience
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a financial or fintech firm
  • Experience with responsive web and mobile app development
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence applications
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong digital product management skills and experience with enterprise platforms
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources
  • Strong knowledge of developing or managing digital experiences
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally with various teams
  • Expert listening skills to understand and refine business intent
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to lead through challenges
  • Curiosity and a can-do attitude in a dynamic environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills to track multiple projects
  • Experience working in a large organization with many stakeholders
  • Effective relationship builder across various personality types
  • Superior communication skills to convey complex messages
