About the position

The Product Manager - Finance Inventory & Costing is responsible for defining and supporting the development of processes and applications for internal systems throughout the product lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with business owners to understand their challenges and opportunities, translating these needs into actionable requirements, and ensuring that applications are configured and developed to maximize value and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with key business owners, leadership, and peers to document needs and produce the product roadmap.
  • Understands business processes and provides expert-level guidance to uncover areas for improvement.
  • Leads prioritization efforts in partnership with business owners and stakeholders.
  • Builds alignment across product teams and cross-functional leaders through clear communication.
  • Prepares for and participates in quarterly Product Increment Planning sessions.
  • Leads project initiatives, guiding user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Supports Finance daily operations and the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Defines and reports on key metrics to track progress on system roadmaps and transformation initiatives.
  • Works closely with solutions architects and delivery teams to ensure recommendations are feasible.
  • Collaborates with leaders to implement best-in-class product development practices.

Requirements

  • Experience implementing, configuring, and building ERP systems, particularly in manufacturing, standard costing, inventory, accounting, and procurement.
  • Deep understanding of the current and future systems landscape within the Finance department.
  • Strong track record of product leadership and end-to-end ownership of product strategy and execution.
  • Willingness and capability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices, with certifications in PSPO/CSPO/POPM being ideal.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on rapid experimentation and delivery.
  • Very strong organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle Manufacturing, Oracle Inventory, Jira/Confluence, Google Suite, and Lucid Chart.
