About the position

The Product Manager for Financial Accounts at Stripe will lead the development of money management abstractions, focusing on how users can store money on the Stripe platform. This role involves strategic thinking to enhance user value while addressing technical challenges in API design, collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain user-facing capabilities to fund, store, and move money within the GPTN.
• Develop abstractions that allow users to store money on Stripe, including features like FDIC insurance and yield.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to enhance the Money Management Abstractions.
• Synthesize user demands to inform design choices and prioritization.
• Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Treasury, and Financial Crimes.

Requirements

• User-first mindset with the ability to synthesize user demands for design choices.
• Comfortable working across the stack, engaging with both bank partners and end users.
• Technically curious and able to engage in technical conversations regarding API design.
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills to work with various product teams and functions.
