About the position

The Senior Product Manager will oversee the US product roadmap for the Capital Markets Securities Processing team at FIS, focusing on enhancing the PTP platform for the North American market. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, managing product features specific to US regulations, and ensuring the delivery of settlement capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the US product roadmap and plans.
  • Collaborating with Senior Management, Sales, Marketing, and Presales as necessary.
  • Taking ownership of new functional areas specific to the North American markets such as ACATS transfers, Money Market Funds, US Margin, US Securities Segregation, US Retirement Accounts, and US Regulatory Reporting.
  • Collaborating with the Settlements Product Owner and Development Team to deliver the US settlement capabilities roadmap.
  • Performing analysis to identify functional gaps, particularly with respect to developing capabilities currently supported in Phase3 onto PTP.
  • Participating in requirement gathering and soliciting input from Clients, SMEs, and 3rd parties as appropriate.
  • Working closely with development teams to validate design and establish build plans.
  • Working closely with QA function to set User Acceptance criteria.

Requirements

  • Good all-round knowledge of US Retail, Correspondent Clearing, and Institutional operations especially with respect to Equities, Fixed Income, Money Market Funds, Options, and Mutual Funds.
  • One or more specific areas of expertise in ACATS transfers, Money Market Funds, US Margin, US Securities Segregation, and US Retirement Accounts.
  • Experience with systems such as Broadridge BPS, BetaNxt, Phase3, or Intelliclear.
  • Effective communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within the organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Agile development practices.
  • Exposure to CI/CD projects.
  • Hands-on technical skills such as Docker, Python, Linux.
  • Understanding of broader asset classes such as FX, OTC, and Cleared derivatives.
