About the position

As a Product Manager on the Product Growth team at Amplitude, you will be responsible for enhancing the self-serve customer journey from signup to purchase, focusing on long-term retention and expansion. This role is critical in building and executing strategies to accelerate activation, retention, and monetization, contributing significantly to the company's Net ARR.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new bets and tactics to improve funnel metrics and create a compelling roadmap in collaboration with design and engineering.
  • Engage with users and analyze data to understand user behavior, identify pain points, and uncover value propositions.
  • Collaborate with other product teams to enhance new features and drive product adoption across the platform.
  • Work closely with the Growth Marketing team to explore opportunities that span both in-product and external experiences.
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize activation rates, engagement rates, and free-to-paid conversion.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in growth-specific environments.
  • Proven track record of executing growth initiatives and driving key metrics such as activation, retention, monetization, and churn.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with daily interactions with designers, engineers, and growth marketers.
  • Experience in setting ambitious goals and delivering results in a fast-changing environment, with a focus on learning and iterating quickly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital analytics or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Amplitude or similar analytics tools.
  • Background in user experience design or customer journey mapping.
