About the position

DGA Security is seeking a Product Manager - Hardware Solutions to lead the development and management of hardware product offerings. This role involves collaborating with technology leadership and product managers to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency, focusing on innovative hardware solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Define hardware product offering requirements, specifications, and deliverables.
  • Develop product integration strategies that transform vendor technologies into unified, scalable security solutions.
  • Partner with leadership and stakeholders to manage a technology roadmap that anticipates market trends and emerging security technologies.
  • Work closely with technology and operations teams to ensure smooth hardware-software offering integration.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and vendor evaluations.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics and KPIs for hardware systems.
  • Provide technical expertise to support sales and customer-facing teams.
  • Lead hardware-related user research efforts to gather feedback and optimize solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a hardware development or product management role.
  • Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and IoT systems.
  • Familiarity with the security industry and its regulatory standards, including UL compliance, is a plus.
  • Experience with hardware testing, troubleshooting, and deployment processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Background in security systems or related industries is a plus.
