About the position

The Product Manager for Healthcare at Chamberlain University is responsible for the planning and execution of products and solutions within the university's portfolio, focusing primarily on nursing and behavioral health. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify key product features, support go-to-market strategies, and ensure successful product adoption. The Product Manager will lead the implementation of the product strategic roadmap, manage external partnerships, and evaluate funding for product initiatives, all while working in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute products and solutions for Chamberlain University's product portfolio, focusing on nursing and behavioral health.
  • Support the identification and execution of key product features that align with business imperatives.
  • Lead the implementation of the product strategic roadmap.
  • Collaborate with institutional business stakeholders and SMEs to conceptualize, design, and develop product solutions.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, on budget, and on target by partnering with cross-functional leaders and teams.
  • Anticipate product issues proactively and propose solutions to enhance product adoption.
  • Work with the product marketing team to implement positioning strategies for products.
  • Manage the process for Chamberlain offers, including financial management and evaluation of offers.
  • Direct the work of external business partners on product development and delivery issues.
  • Evaluate and review funding for product initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 5 or more years of product management, product marketing, or related experience required.
  • Knowledge of adult, online higher education market, nursing, or behavioral health industry preferred.
  • Experience in leading product strategy and roadmap development.
  • Proven ability to collaborate successfully with all organizational functions and levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing complex issues with diplomacy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to influence internal and external customers at all levels in an organization.
  • High degree of creativity, personal integrity, and strong work ethic.
