About the position

The Product Manager I will be responsible for owning a product feature and leading project execution within the Insurance vertical at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. This role involves understanding customer needs, collaborating with internal partners, and executing product roadmaps to enhance operational efficiency and drive data-driven decisions across the insurance policy lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own a product feature and lead project execution.
• Represent the needs of the customer to the delivery team.
• Interact with customers to gather requirements and understand key needs.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to assess product needs in the marketplace.
• Analyze situations and data autonomously to make decision recommendations.
• Execute go-to-market launch plans as required.
• Lead the execution of a product roadmap for a single feature area.
• Define and prioritize requirement changes for engineering.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of product management experience.
• High-level understanding of the company technology stack for feature area.
• Demonstrated technical skills with technologies such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, SQL.
• Ability to solve constraints, assess risks, and structure data-informed reasoning effectively in writing.
• Understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams including engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing.
• Experience with customer interviewing techniques.
• Understanding of web applications and concepts of A/B testing.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of insurance is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with analytic toolsets like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering) is ideal but not essential.
