About the position

The Product Manager II for the Access, Delivery & Drainage Portfolio at Boston Scientific is responsible for developing and executing strategic business and tactical plans for high-growth product categories within the Interventional Oncology & Embolization franchise. This role involves leading the global launch of the Next Generation Microcatheter and providing strategic recommendations to enhance growth and profitability. The position primarily focuses on downstream marketing while also engaging in some upstream marketing initiatives, allowing for comprehensive management of the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all commercialization efforts for the global launch of the Next Generation Microcatheter in 2026.
  • Support the creation and drive the fulfillment of the franchise commercialization plan in collaboration with upstream, global, and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive and execute required research to ensure successful product commercialization efforts, including qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Utilize classic marketing capabilities such as market understanding, segmentation, product positioning, and message development to achieve business objectives.
  • Serve as a clinical expert and functional advisor to both external and internal customers.
  • Develop strong partnerships with U.S. sales management and field teams, providing insights on customer opportunities and risks.
  • Align with global Franchise stakeholders on new business opportunities.
  • Track performance against objectives and plans, formulating new strategies as needed, including contingency plans for critical tactical initiatives.
  • Identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and stimulating work environment that encourages colleagues to excel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of Marketing/Business experience required.
  • Experience managing medically/clinically oriented products; medical device experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience leading product launches and managing impactful programs.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with key customers and cross-functional partners, particularly in sales organizations.
  • Experience creating impactful marketing plans and developing value propositions, positioning, and targeting strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
