About the position

The Product Manager II for Google Distributed Cloud will play a crucial role in guiding products from conception to launch, focusing on the intersection of technical and business aspects. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement tools and processes that enhance the delivery of Google Distributed Cloud hardware, ensuring that solutions meet customer needs and market demands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and life-cycle of software tools designed to streamline and automate supply chain operations.
• Create and implement new business strategies to enhance the efficiency and scalability of Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) hardware deployment.
• Establish clear, standardized procedures for various aspects of the GDC hardware supply chain, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality control.
• Develop plans to extend the reach of GDC hardware offerings into new markets or customer segments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• Experience in Data Centers and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in supply chain or ERP.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
• 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
• 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
• 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
• 1 year of experience in technical leadership.
