About the position

The Product Manager II for Labor Planning at Amazon Grocery Logistics is responsible for leading strategic operations and technology projects that enhance labor planning tools and processes for Amazon Fresh. This role focuses on optimizing labor flow management and improving the overall customer experience by ensuring that associates are effectively utilized in grocery fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and experience in program/project management, working collaboratively with various teams to drive business-critical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Designing and modeling new labor planning processes to improve timeliness, quality, cost, and scalability.
• Leading project teams to plan, organize, and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
• Innovating to improve customer experience and continuously remove costs from the fulfillment network.
• Building strong partnerships with operations field leaders to identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyzing and solving operational barriers by understanding root causes and implementing solutions.
• Gathering and analyzing data across order fulfillment functions to establish global operational standards.
• Designing new metrics and enhancing existing metrics to support the future state of the business.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in product, program, or project management leading cross-functional teams
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and VBA
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases
• Experience as a program or product manager in a grocery, fulfillment, or labor planning role
• Experience in requirement gathering and writing clear requirement documents.
