About the position

As a Product Manager II at Gap Inc., you will be pivotal in shaping product strategy to enhance customer experience and drive business growth across the company's iconic brands, including Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional partners, including business leaders, engineering, and data science, to bring products from concept to market, focusing on customer-centric innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company objectives and customer needs
  • Drive stakeholder engagement to define requirements and uncover pain points/opportunities
  • Build relationships with key business partners and other brand stakeholders; articulate product needs clearly and succinctly to different audiences and cross-functional partners
  • Define and prioritize product features, create robust user stories, and work closely with engineering to ensure successful and timely delivery of product releases
  • Identify, measure, and interpret results to validate product success
  • Provide research, analysis, and support for identifying, evaluating, and resolving strategic opportunities
  • Develop and manage project plans and key stakeholder engagement strategy on all initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate for retail and product management
  • Ability to influence and debate solutions with technical team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions

  • Preferred experience in the Retail industry with an emphasis on Merchandise Planning
