About the position

The Product Manager II at LexisNexis Risk Solutions is responsible for owning and leading the development of Law Enforcement product features. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to propose new feature ideas, prioritize customer issues, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will execute the product vision, develop go-to-market strategies, and ensure customer satisfaction through innovative product solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support GTM strategy by communicating customer value propositions, requirements, and timelines to stakeholders.
  • Answer questions from sales and customers regarding feature function, pricing, packaging, value proposition, and competitive position.
  • Participate in market and product messaging of desired outcomes.
  • Advance prototypes or MVPs based on a deep understanding of their feature area.
  • Capture customer goals and needs using different frameworks and techniques and prioritize those needs for the organization.
  • Use or extend the company's platforms and underlying technologies to create new product features.
  • Speak knowledgeably with tech and data counterparts about development approaches.
  • Learn about new technologies to support development efforts.
  • Interpret market events to actionable intelligence for features and enhancements.
  • Understand the role's impact on customer satisfaction.
  • Solve problems and analyze issues by asking effective questions and collecting facts from multiple sources.
  • Demonstrate effective conversational skills, including active listening and questioning.
  • Understand own strengths and weaknesses and look for opportunities to build on both.
  • Encourage cooperation between team members and remove barriers to team performance.
  • Establish rapport with others on the team and across teams.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of product management experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering discipline) preferred.
  • Ability to solve hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks.
  • Engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile Scrum, Kanban, and writing user stories.
  • Experience in Government or Law Enforcement industries and/or public records is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Law Enforcement products (Accurint and Accurint TraX) is a plus.
  • Ability to grasp data and technical architecture principles and best practices.
