About the position

The Product Manager at Spreetail is responsible for driving product decisions and managing the long-term vision for a specific feature set or area of a product. This role involves collaborating with logistics-focused software partners and stakeholders, analyzing data to create insights, and leading discovery sessions with engineering teams. The position emphasizes a passion for learning new technologies and building scalable software solutions to enhance Spreetail's ecommerce capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with logistics-focused software partners, users, and stakeholders to write and produce stories for Engineering teams.
  • Examine data on key input and output metrics, customer feedback, and product usage information to create insights that drive product decisions.
  • Build and own a backlog tied to a specific feature set or area of a product and drive discovery on stories for one to two squads of engineers.
  • Pursue new learning opportunities from shadowing users to workflow deep dives.
  • Build, refine, and manage the long-term vision for a Product Identity or large set of tools (1-3-5 year plans).
  • Drive discovery sessions with little oversight and elicit detailed discussions on named features with both short and long-term time horizons.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in product management.
  • Experience working with Agile development practices.
  • Proven success building and growing supply chain technologies that optimize inventory, warehouses, fulfillment operations, or delivery transportation.
  • Advanced understanding of the financial aspects of the business, including input and output metrics.
  • Ability to execute accurately and lead numerous projects across teams and functions.
