We are currently seeking a Product Manager-Implementations to join our Broadridge Trading Solutions Delivery (TSD) team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-performance and sustainable solutions tailored to meet our clients' electronic trading business requirements. As the Product Manager, you will oversee all functional aspects of the customer solution, acting as the primary interface between Sales and the TSD organization during the pre-signature phase. You will serve as the functional reference point throughout the project lifecycle and beyond, ensuring that client needs are met effectively. In the pre-signature phase, your responsibilities will include challenging and validating the scoping document provided by the Pre-Sales team, ensuring that all necessary information for assessing the project's feasibility, costs, and acceptance criteria is collected. You will interface with the Delivery team to ascertain the project's feasibility, costs, and timelines. During the project delivery phase, you will liaise with the customer to discuss functional requirements, acting as their business counterpart. You will write functional specifications that detail the client's objectives, including use-cases and workflows, and obtain client approval for the implementation. Additionally, you will provide input on business priorities for existing and new requirements in the project backlog, collaborating with the implementation team to devise optimal functional and technical solutions. You will participate in backlog build-out with the Project Manager and project team, ensuring that the steps taken maximize business value and minimize risks. Your role will also involve conducting user training sessions alongside Implementation Engineers and participating in Go-live support for the initial rollout. In the post-delivery phase, you will assist Customer Services by sharing your functional and business knowledge to help address client challenges and advise on effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Challenge and validate the scoping document provided by the Pre-Sales team.
  • Ensure all necessary information for assessing the project's feasibility, costs, and acceptance criteria are collected.
  • Interface with Delivery team to get project's feasibility, costs, and timelines.
  • Liaise with the Customer to discuss functional requirements, becoming their business counterpart for the project.
  • Write functional specifications describing what the client wants to achieve, detailing the use-cases and workflows, and obtain client approval for the implementation itself.
  • Provide input on the business priority for any existing and new requirements of the project backlog.
  • Brainstorm with the implementation team to provide the best functional and technical solution to the business requirements, and find creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Participate in the backlog build out with the Project Manager (PM) and project team by splitting the work into intermediate steps.
  • Sign off on the functional workflows the team has delivered against the solution specification.
  • Conduct user training sessions together with Implementation Engineers.
  • Participate in Go-live support for the initial rollout.
  • Assist Customer Services by sharing functional and business knowledge to understand the client's challenges and advise on the most effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Technical background is a plus to understand/participate in functional architecture decisions and interact with implementation engineers teams.
  • Good client facing skills to talk to prospects, run user interviews, manage client expectations, etc.
  • Core product manager skills with advanced client interaction capability and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience in the Finance industry is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
  • Soft skills: Entrepreneurial, Enthusiastic, Curious, Get-to-the-bottom-of-it mindset.
