About the position

Agilix Solutions is seeking a Product Manager. This position will be responsible for driving the APR's business strategy to accelerate growth in the Smart Components businesses. These businesses include industrial components, motor control, sensors, safety, condition monitoring, controllers, distributed I/O and networks. This position will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and the distributor, providing technical, marketing, and commercial leadership for sales growth. The Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the commercial plan for the Smart Components businesses and will take a lead role in developing a competency plan to ensure that support functions (inside/outside sales) are adequately prepared to maximize share gain for the Smart Components businesses in their APR(s). The Smart Components specialist will be held accountable for the revenue performance of the assigned product segments. This role will report to the Automation Team Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the APR's business strategy to accelerate growth in the Smart Components businesses.
  • Act as the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and the distributor.
  • Provide technical, marketing, and commercial leadership for sales growth.
  • Support the commercial plan for the Smart Components businesses.
  • Develop a competency plan to prepare support functions for maximizing share gain.
  • Be accountable for the revenue performance of assigned product segments.
  • Coordinate sales teaming efforts to identify and close account conversions and project sales opportunities.
  • Motivate, support, and lead inside and outside sales reps to implement the business plan effectively.
  • Analyze market conditions and develop an annual business plan.
  • Administer and implement marketing, promotion programs, and product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent combination of skills, experience, or education.
  • TÜV or exida certification for Functional Safety is preferred.
  • 3 years of experience applying Rockwell Automation's products or equivalent competitive solutions.
  • Ability to travel to customers within assigned geography as required.
  • Good technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

  • Experience in industrial business drivers and outcome-based selling.
  • Strong presentation skills in group and individual situations.
  • Ability to analyze market conditions and competitive forces.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competency.
