About the position

The Product Manager - Integration at IBM is responsible for driving the product roadmap and enhancing the Integration portfolio through innovative and competitive products. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction, while also conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product roadmap with a focus on improving and expanding capabilities to meet current and future customer needs.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product strategy.
  • Identify, prioritize, write, and maintain product requirements that clearly define features, functionality, and metrics for success.
  • Lead Agile practices to progress committed plans from design through delivery.
  • Plan, package, and launch capabilities into the market to drive towards strategic goals.
  • Work directly with customers and business partners to promote product capabilities, understand pain points, discuss enhancement requests, and engage various disciplines to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with other product managers and members of cross-functional teams including Design, Development, Support, Sales, Services and Business Partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in product management, product development, or other customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience working directly with customers.
  • Interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical and business focals.
  • Experience writing detailed requirements.
  • Effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and move forward in the face of ambiguity.
